This clinic also ensures each individual client is supported by their personal counselor to draw up their own treatment plan tailored to their own specific needs and circumstances. This alcohol treatment facility does not operate a one size fits all policy.

The therapeutic treatment programme consists of:
Counseling – individual counseling service by members of the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy
Group therapy – Group therapy has long been recognized as being one of the most effective methods for change for individuals experiencing addiction problems. The client will participate in daily group work sessions focusing on many issues related to alcohol misuse.
Recovery Presentations – The recovery presentations educate clients by giving them an understanding of the power and impact of addiction. They also empower clients by encouraging them to take responsibility for their recovery and lives.
Holistic Therapies – During your stay you will receive alternative treatments provided by a fully qualified therapist. Therapies available include body massage, Indian head massage, hot stone massage, Swedish massage and Reiki.
Self help groups – Clients are encouraged to access community self help groups that they can access through their treatment and after discharge to provide ongoing addiction support. A regular meeting of ex-clients is held in-house every Monday, as well as in in-house Alcoholic Anonymous meeting every Sunday and mid week trips to local meetings.
Facilities and Accommodation
The clinic is based in an 18th century house with a distinguished history. The accommodation offers tastefully refurbished single occupancy large ensuite bedrooms. Clients have use of two comfortable lounges, dining room and beautiful garden area with an ornamental pond. A Jacuzzi is housed in a purpose built building in the grounds, which clients have 24 hour access to.
Delicious home cooked meals and home baking are prepared daily by the catering team with all dietary needs catered for.
